Contact us to place an order for sheet metal gas cutting (CNC)
We would like to offer you high quality gas cutting of black sheet metal. The precision of the cut is up to 0.5mm. For gas cutting we are using the best CNC technology machines available on the market today. We guarantee high precision and reproducibility of made details. The maximum size of the cut sheet is 6000x2000mm. We cut black sheets with thickness up to 300mm.
Oxygen cutting - important details!
- We cut mild steel with thickness up to 300mm
- High quality of the oxzgen cutting with precision up to 0.5 mm
- We cut sheets of size up to 6000 x 2000 mm
- The cutting process uses numerically controlled machines (CNC)
Gas cutting (cnc)- process description
Gas cutting is one of the most popular methods of cutting steel, especially sheet metal. Using this method it is possible to cut sheet metal with thickness from few millimeters to few meters. The process of gas cutting involves the burning of metal in oxygen and throwing out the burnt by-product from the cut slit (kerf). Gas cutting may be conducted using a manual torch or advanced numerically controlled machines (CNC). Here, at Guanes, we're using first class CNC machines. Cutting with gas burner in CNC technology provides far better quality compared to the same process but with a manual torch.
Gas cutting CNC - Advantages
- precision - CNC gas cutting guarantees high quality of cutting
- smooth and clean face of cut - the details cut with gas cutting are, in most cases, final made products, with no further processing needed
- reproducibility - CNC gas cutting guarantees high reproducibility of the cut detail
Gas cutting - Disadvantages
- sheet deformations - due to high temperatures during gas cutting, there are some deformations on the sheet - those deformations can be avoided by using the right technique - deformations of the cut sheet have no effect on the element cut
Do not hesitate - contact us to place an order for sheet metal gas cutting
