We offer high quality black and stainless sheet metal plasma cutting. The precision of the cut is up to 0.5mm. For plasma cutting we are using the best machines available on the market today. We guarantee high precision and reproducibility of made details. The maximum size of the cut sheet is 6000x2000mm. With plasma we cut black sheets with thickness up to 25mm, stainless up to 15mm.

Plasma cutting - process description

Plasma cutting uses highly concentrated electric arc. The arc glowing between the plasma end and the material melts the material and throws the by-product out the cut slit (kerf). It uses silicon-controlled rectifiers or inverters - called plasma aggregates - for the powers source. Almost all metals can be cut using plasma arc, from aluminium to stainless steel. The support gas for plasma is usually air, but it's possible to use argon, nitrogen or carbon dioxide. In Guanes we use numerically controlled (CNC) machines for our plasma cutting.
